Veteran actor Jaaved Jaaferi opened the doors to his plush Mumbai home that spreads across 7000 square feet and comes with a charismatic sea view. Located in Bandra, the apartment has been described as a Mediterranian oasis of memories. It gives out a soothing vibe with eggshell walls and minimalist furniture that adds warmth to this family home the actor shares with his children Meezaan and Alaviaa.

Jaaved told Architectural Digest India, “I’ve been a Bandra boy all my life; I was here for 40 years. I lived in my first home, where I was born, for 15 years, and then a few years at my second home, before moving to a house with my children in Lokhandwala. Earlier my problem with Bandra was that, with the amount of construction everywhere, buildings are situated amusingly close together where you can open the door and ask for a cup of sugar. But when I saw this place I just fell in love’’.

Jaaved Jaaferi became a household name during the 90s and dons many hats from being a comedian, dancer, and voice-over artist, he has aced in all fields. His Bollywood credits include 'Salaam Namaste', 'Ta Ra Rum Pum', 'Dhamaal', and 'Singh Is Kinng'.

Before the shows like Bigg Boss took over our television screens, 'Boogie Woogie' was the first dance reality TV show in India. Whenever the show's name is taken, what strikes our mind is Jaaved Jaaferi's commentary on the show. He used to guide the young and inspiring dancers as a good teacher does, and you would desire to have a mentor like him in your life. Jaaferi was not only a judge on the reality dance competition series, but also one of its creators, helping it grow into the longest-running show of its kind.

At the turn of 2000, the voice that came to be associated with numerous animated characters tickled our funny bones like no other. His commentary on the Japanese television show 'Takeshi's Castle' quickly gained popularity among both young adults and adults, and became an instant hit.
